Challenge # 376 - 2017 Resolutions

Welcome to  the 376th Little Red Wagon Challenge!  Since we are in the second challenge of the year, I thought it might be fun to see cards inspired by resolutions or goals you have made for 2017.  If your goal is to exercise more, how about a card featuring an activity you plan on doing.  Your goal might be to do more reading or get a dog...you get the picture.

As for me, I was inspired to buy a journaling bible well over a year ago and hadn't put a mark in it.  I  decided it was high time to start using it and this is my very first entry.  I'm hoping to do one entry a week and also hoping my technique improves.

Come on along and join us at the Little Red Wagon challenge.  We can't wait to see your creations!

Challenge # 375 - Something New!

Happy Wednesday, all!  We're still celebrating the New Year this week.....well, the "new" part anyways.  We want to see something new!  As a theme (new baby, new job, new home etc.), a new, never tried technique, or show us some of that new stash you received for Christmas....or maybe you scored something from a Boxing Day sale!   And remember, it's not just cards that are eligible.....we'd love to see your layout, altered item or any other paper craft.

This is what I did.....

I went with a new (baby) theme, plus I used a new-to-me digi as well as a Pinned sketch that I hadn't yet tried.  All kinds of newness here!

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and link up.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Here is my take on it ~ traditional in both theme and colour for New Years.  Stamp is Kraftin`Kimmie ``Let`s Celebrate``.

Why not join us this week with a project of your own with a New Year`s theme.  Looking forward to seeing what you create and I will be back Tuesday with my top picks

Challenge #373 Follow the Star

Hi Everyone!
This is the week that it all happens! I hope that you're all ready.  This week's challenge is Follow the Star.  Stars are so much a part of Christmas - maybe a star atop your tree, or the starry night that baby Jesus was born.  All you need to do is have a star or two on your paper creation. I chose a stamp from Morning Star for my card.  I used a matte finish silver, embossed the manger and star and added a rhinestone to the star.  I love the simplicity of it of this card.  Please join us this week, I can't wait to see your star-studded creations!
I'll be back next Tuesday with my star picks.  In the meantime I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year!
Sandy
